Fare through in second class cars, Time from new-york to Philadelphia, 5 hours 30 minutes. Passengers during the season of navigation are conveyed from Bristol to Philadelphia by steamboat: stopping at Bur lingtou, N. J., to land and receive passengers.
This is the most expeditious route between new-york and Philadelphia, passing over the Hudson, Raritan, and Delaware rivers, and through several thriving cities and villages, - some of them celebrated for their beauty of location, and others for historical incidents, enacted during the revolutionary war. The scenery in the vicinity of the Delaware river below Tren ton, is also exceedingly beautiful and interesting.
